Our Story
Impactful Collective began with a simple but powerful idea. A group of colleagues and friends, each with different expertise and experiences, asked how we could create meaningful change in our communities. We recognized that research and knowledge are not just academic pursuits. They are tools that can shape policy, guide strategy, and strengthen communities when used with care and intention.
Together, we decided to join forces as a collective. What sets us apart is the way we bring advanced academic training, professional experience, and lived experience into every project. Many of us hold PhDs and Masters degrees and have worked across government, non-profit, and community sectors. Collectively, we have advised federal departments, as well as provincial ministries, municipalities, and community organizations. Our areas of expertise include public policy, strategic planning, program and service evaluation, labour, immigration, poverty reduction, and equity-focused initiatives.
Our strength lies not only in what we know but in who we are. We are women, immigrants, second-generation Canadians, and racialized professionals who have firsthand experience navigating systems that were not always designed with us in mind. This perspective deepens our work. It allows us to design strategies and evaluations that are not only evidence-based, but also responsive to lived realities.
We are fluent in both qualitative and quantitative methods. Our team has led large-scale evaluations, conducted community-based participatory research, and developed strategic plans grounded in strong data and meaningful consultation. From advanced statistical analysis to in-depth interviews to mixed-methods designs, our work is always guided by a commitment to generating insights that translate into action.
At Impactful Collective, collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. We work alongside governments, organizations, and communities to co-create solutions that are practical, intersectional, and sustainable. More than consultants, we are partners and bridge builders. We help transform research into strategy, knowledge into practice, and ideas into lasting change.
Impactful Collective was founded on the belief that consulting can be more than a service. It can be a force for equity, justice, and community impact.
